Spend a night with Friends Family Co-Workers

Bowling in a league is a great way to escape the daily routine and have a social night out with friends. We have something for everyone from our social mixed leagues for friends looking for a night of fun, to the more competive scratch leagues for the serious bowlers out there it’s easy to find a league that fits into your schedule.

Handicap vs Scratch Leagues

Handicap Leagues

Most leagues use the bowler averages to determine team and/or individual handicaps. The handicap is the difference of the averages between the two teams that are facing each other (sometimes then multiplied by a percentage, such as 90%). The handicap gives teams with lower averages a chance to compete against teams with higher averages. This basically levels the playing field so everyone can compete with each other no matter your skill level.

Scratch Leagues

Scratch leagues use only the actual scores that are thrown, this is a true test of skill. It puts team vs team, bowler vs bowler in a competitive environment. Only the strongest survive! These leagues usually carry a higher weekly fee, and a higher prize pool at the end of the season.

Youth Leagues and Family Leagues

Bowling is the perfect sport for any child, it’s the only sport where no one rides the bench and everyone plays EVERY week. Size and strength are not a factor. We have bumper bowling available for children as young as 2 years old and facilities for disabled bowlers also. Bowling is a lifetime sport and a wonderful group activity.

Berks Lanes will be closed to the public Monday August 2nd-Wednesday Aug. 4th for maintenance and upgrades due to ownership change. Leagues will be bowling at their normal schedule times for those days except Monday Morning Seniors. They are cancelled. Facebook
